2/29/12 - 3-3-12, Phoenix & Scottsdale AZ. Vista Del Camino and Fountain Hills. Looking forward to a chance to redeem myself on these courses. The only other time I played there, Vista got the best of me. Hopefully I play better this time! I have watched all of last years footage, but there wasn't much of the Vista course.
Skullmaster Disaster
2/11/12 - Valley Springs - New Hogan Dam It was a great day. I got to play with some cool people. Shot -7 first round, then -2 the second. World Champ Jim Oates shot -9 and then I'm not sure, I just knew it was a lot better than my round... ;) Anyway, congrats to Jim, he won, and Gerald Lumpkin shot a -6 the second round to take 2nd. I tied for 3rd with Kevin Couch and Robert Bainbridge. Stoked that I have finally played the Disaster that I've been hearing about for so long.
Felton Freeze
A local fundraising tournament that I happened to win last year, it will again be the first tournament of the year for me. It definitely propelled me into a great season last year, and I look forward to playing it again this year.
Southwestern Team Invitational
Team Santa Cruz! Thanks to a generous sponsorship from a couple good friends, I will be at Morley Field for my final tournament of the 2011 Season - Sat-Sun, Dec 3-4, 2011
UPDATE Well it was a blast! We didn't win, but we did win the highly coveted Spirit Award, which was a very nice bag made by Voodoo bags, and it cam loaded with discs and even some premium Green Flash West Coast IPA- one of my favorite beers.
