Lessons and Instruction
As a tourning professional disc golfer, I watch and play a lot of disc golf. I love it. I also enjoy sharing my passion for the sport with those who are passionate about improving their game. There's nothing like an eager student for me. If I can teach them how to play better, well I really get a kick out of that. Watching someone do something they have never done before and witnessing their joy is truly an enriching experience. Maybe I could help you.
What would a lesson be like?
The first order of business when I start working with someone is to talk about your goals. You obviously want to improve, but is it just throwing farther? Do you want to improve tournament results? Develop a more consistent putt? Learn how to throw a certain shot? Let's get specific about what you want, and then we can develop a plan to help you achieve it.
Sometimes it will be appropriate to work with you at an athletic field, away from the distractions of a busy disc golf course. There, we can really hone in on your technique. Or we might want to play holes together so I can see how you manage yourself and your game during a round of golf. Or perhaps you are just looking for help on one specific hole. Your lesson will be tailored to you and your needs.
While I have been called a good teacher, I am no substitute for practice. You will have to commit applying some effort on your own, but I think I can help you to practice the right way, with improved technique, to shorten the path that leads you to accomplishing your goals.
Contact me now and let's talk about your plan. -JB
